Three learning tracks are featured this year at MACHINICON. They are as followed:

• LIGHTS: This track focuses on settings using EEPs (Environmental Enhancement Project), making lights in world, and how colors can effect both mood and how we see shades and skin tones.

  • DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy

• CAMERA: This interactive tour style learning experience takes residents through short film lessons using the infamous MASTER SHOTS guide written by Christopher Kenworthy, then provides participants with interactive sets where they can put those skills to the test. Interactive sets animate avatars and adjust camera angles, instructing the participant how to capture and film different angles for movie making.

  • DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy to Medium

• ACTION: Put all your skills you’ve learned to the test! MACHINICON is hosting three different ACTION themed events this year to provide real time examples of Second Life events for budding machinima makers to practice their filming skills. Learn more about those events HERE, HERE, & HERE.
